Rehearsals and Concerts
Use the links on the left for detailed information about arrangements for rehearsals and for concerts.
Subscriptions
The annual subscription of £70 (£57 concessions) is due in September.
Logging in to the website
This has two benefits: 1. You can participate in the Members Forum (see below). 2. We can email you on the rare occasions when we need to send urgent messages about changes in arrangements.
Members Forum
If you are a singing member of the society you can login using the panel on the left to read and take part in the Society's Members' Forum. Once logged in you will see the 'Members menu' on the left. The first three options relate to the Members' Forum, including advice on how to use it.
Getting your username and password
If you are a member of the Society but you do not yet have a usename and password then please email Andrew Hill, chairman, to request them. Passwords and emails can subsequently be changed using 'Change my details'. From time to time we may email all members using your registered email address - for example if there is a last minute change to rehearsal arrangements - so please keep your email address up to date.
Buying Tickets
Tickets for the rear seating blocks of the nave will be onsale to the public online well in advance of each concert.
Tickets for the front seating blocks of the nave will be on sale to members at reheasals from 6 weeks before the each concert. At that same time they will also be made available to members of the public online.
Contributing to the Website
Please feel free to write articles for publication on the website - either to fill gaps or to add topical items. You may also want to add relevant links to other website on our 'links' page. Please send text or suggested links to Andrew Hill, chairman, by email.
Joining the Society
If you would like to sing with Ripon Choral Society then you can either contact our secretary or just come to a rehearsal and introduce yourself. Performing members undertake a short audition, usually on joining, and pay an annual subscription. They are expected to attend regularly at rehearsals and to participate in the Society's concert programme.
