A new slant on an old favourite: this year’s performance of Handel’s ever-popular oratorio, a Christmas tradition for Ripon Choral Society, recreates one of Handel’s earliest performing versions of the work using five soloists and versions of some arias which are rarely heard - yet the majority of the work will remain entirely familiar.

Don’t miss this feast of choral singing – including the rousing ‘Hallelujah Chorus’ and ‘All We Like Sheep’ – and best-loved solos such as ‘The Trumpet Shall Sound’ and ‘I Know That My Redeemer Liveth’.
